First Baptist Church of Broussard is proud to be the sponsor for

Cub Scout Pack 316

Pack 316 is part of the Beau Bassin District, which is within the Evangeline Area Council.

Out Unit Commissioner is Michelle Lopez.

The Pack...

meets once a month for about an hour.  The dens gather together to participate in

games, songs, skits, as well as acknowledge scouts that achieve advancement.

We also use this time to handout our pack newsletter and touch base with the parents.

Dens...

can have meetings as often as once a week or as little as once a month.

Each scout follows their cub

scout book at their rank level.

There are many ways each scout can also earn loops and pins by following the

Sports & Academics book at their leisure.

Patches are earned by attending events, campouts and performing

duties such as fair cleanup, roadside cleanup, and fundraising.

While scouting is all year, we usually do not have pack meetings during the summer months. We do have

summertime activities and committee meetings are held each month all year.

Scouting

is open to all boys first to fifth grade.

is family focused

and

couldn’t exist without parent

involvement.
